At Screwfix, we really care about doing better for the planet. From top to bottom we are pushing to do better as a business. That’s why we have people like Olivia Green – our Sustainability Manager – leading the way to reach all of our environmental goals. Here, we catch up with Olivia to hear about her first year with Screwfix.

From sourcing and manufacturing to delivery and sales, all of us are doing our bit to create a greener future.
We’re aiming to eliminate as much of our direct carbon footprint as possible by 2025-26 and will work hard to get to zero. We’re also working with our suppliers and partners on initiatives to eliminate our indirect emissions.
We’re proud to be a zero waste to landfill business. We will work to minimise waste generated from our operations and to recycle as much of the unavoidable waste as possible.
Offering only products that have been sourced, manufactured and delivered in an ethically responsible manner, with focus on factory working conditions and 3rd party certification of products containing wood or paper.
Only selling quality products, that we want to keep in use for longer by providing aftersales care, improving repairability and refurbishing unwanted products.
We will drive hard to offer our customers more sustainable product choices, clearly communicating sustainable features and benefits and backing new sustainable technologies and innovations
We will transform the way we package the products we sell, making it fully and easily recyclable, made from recycled materials and plastic free wherever possible.
